I went into Miss Fiss’ office just about crawling. My whole life had fallen apart. She was so confident and strong and encouraging. She guided me through every step of the process and even gave me emotional guidance. I had been to another attorney who was never available and could not have cared less about me. Miss Fiss turned out not to be just a great lawyer but she actually cared about my case and more importantly about my children being well taken care of. I never doubted her for a minute. Debbie worked with me post-judgement to rectify a difficult and one-sided child support and custody situation. Thanks to Deborah, I have my kid with me. I interviewed close to 10 attorneys before getting to her. She is smart and has a positive attitude, always open to conciliate. Even before the case started, she did the right steps to be ahead in the process. Deborah is very knowledgeable with the court procedures and explains to you what is coming next. She also explains to you how the time of her services has been spent. Of course, as any other person passing through a divorce, I was afraid of my lawyer extending the case to overcharge, but she got a fast resolution of the case by her conciliatory philosophy. In order to be fair with this review, I will suggest to her to be more open to silly questions coming from his clients, remember that we have no clue, a lot of anxiety and, I would say, tremors. Didn’t know this was here but now that I found it I would like to thank Deborah Fiss and her staff for all they did during my divorce. She is very good at what she does and well respected in the court system. She not only did what she promised to do but also took great interest and time with me and my two sons helping us with all the emotions that go with a divorce. She is well worth her fee and DOES NOT over charge, but rather tries to get things taken care of quickly. Without her knowledge, spunk, caring and trustworthiness, my divorce would have been a nightmare. Instead it was a nightmare for the other side. Everything she did was always in my best interest and when things seemed to be falling apart she was always a calming force to show me how everything was really working for the good even if I didn’t see it at that moment. Let me start by saying that Debbie is amazing though it was tough working with her initially. I’m a high strung individual and it takes quite a bit of work and words to calm me.
